Introduction to Windows 8 - @ Westbank Library on Saturday, February 2 at 10:30 a.m.

• Wanna get a jump start on how to use the latest operating system from Microsoft? Then here is your chance. In this class you will learn all about the new Windows 8 and the different versions there are of Windows 8. In this walk-through course we will show you what has changed and what is new along with helping you make the transition between 7 and 8. We will only be covering the basics in this course, such as understanding how to add and remove widgets, accessing the control panel, and learning the new layout of Windows. In this new web-based OS, accessing the internet for everything is key, so understanding where everything is at is very important to understand, especially if you work in a place where they plan to make the transition soon. This is also a great course in deciding whether or not you want to make the switch or hold off from buying it. Individuals with Windows 8 installed on their laptops or tablets are encouraged to bring them.
